Adjusting Your Settings
After your plugin has been installed you will need to adjust the settings the match your website. I am only going to cover the more important settings.
“Basics” Tab
The Basics tab is where you set the basic information of your email.
- Companies email address, good idea to sender something here as it helps with spam filters
- Who will be notified when an email is sent out. This is NOT the subscription list but the email address of the person(s) responsible for email.
- Name and email address that will go in the From address in the email
- Allows an user to subscribe if you webpage allows comments
- Allow users to subscribe to your email when registering to your website. (Website registration must be enable for this to work.
- The link text for the unsubscribe button
- The text that displays when a user unsubscribes.
Don’t forget the “Save Settings” button at the bottom of screen after making your changes.
